The Sky This Week September 6th, 2010

The sky this week begins with the royalty of the waning Leo moon.  The moon represents our emotional and habitual natures and in Leo enjoys fun, creativity, romance, and attention.  This is a nice energy to get together with friends and children for some labor day leisurely fun.  At 9:38 pm the moon will come into a soft sextile aspect with Mars, the planet of action and passion. 

Early Tuesday morning at 12:52 am those early to bed may experience some vivid dreams as the moon will come into opposition with the imaginative planet Neptune.  The moon will go void-of-course at 4:17 am having flat energy while she changes signs entering Virgo, the detailed analyzer at 5:53 am.  At 10:17 am this efficient Virgo moon will come into a very positive trine aspect with the powerful Pluto.  You may be able to use this energy to power clean and organize, taking care of details.  The moon at 5:13 pm will come into conjunction with Mercury, the planet of mental and mechanical activities, which happens to be retrograde therefore bringing some reversals and potential emotional misunderstandings where communications are concerned.

Wednesday is a big day!  6:30 am marks the Virgo new moon.  This is a time to set an intention that you want to grow upon as the moon grows in light while waxing toward a full moon in a couple weeks.  Virgo energy is about details, efficiency, sacred routines, and perfection.  Venus, the planet of love, art, beauty, and possessions enters Scorpio, the intense transformer, at 11:44 am. Where Scorpio falls on your chart is where Venus will bestow her loveliness now through early January 2011 with a short return to Libra during a retrograde transit in November. 

Early Thursday morning Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, excess, and expansion will re-enter Pisces, the intuitive healer, as he continues the retrograde journey.  At 3:35 am the new Virgo moon will come into opposition with Uranus, the planet of the sudden and unexpected followed by another opposition to Jupiter shortly thereafter at 4:59 am when the moon will go void-of-course changing signs to Libra, the charming harmonizer, at 5:01 am.  At 9:26 am the moon will square off with Pluto, the planet of power, intensity, obsession, and transformation.  In the afternoon the moon will come into conjunction with Saturn, the planet of restriction, control, karma, and lessons at 1:09 pm.  Later in the evening Mars, the planet of action, aggression, and passion will come into a positive trine aspect with Neptune, the planet of spirituality, imagination, illusion, and delusion at 9:16 pm.

The moon will coast through the balanced energy of Libra on Friday making one lovely trine aspect with Neptune at 11:57 pm.   

On Saturday the moon will be void-of-course from 1:16 am for the overnight entering the deep intense waters of Scorpio at 5:21 am.  At 8:54 am the moon and Venus will come into conjunction, then at 9:59 am the moon and Pluto will be in a sextile aspect.  Later in the afternoon the moon will come into a soft sextile aspect with Mercury at 2:28 pm.

Venus and Pluto will be in a lovely sextile aspect Sunday morning at 6:43 am followed by the sun and moon coming into a soft sextile aspect at 3:06 pm.  Today’s big event is that Mercury will station for direct motion at 7:09 pm after being retrograde in Virgo for the last three weeks.  Have fun, see details, be balanced, and… change the color of your paradigm. ^SM
